Legato School of Music (LSOM) offers music lessons in  GTA, our comprehensive music education program transforms beginners into confident musicians through our unique curriculum that combines the best of Suzuki and Western teaching methods. This carefully crafted approach makes learning easy and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of age or starting skill level.

What We Offer: Our professional and experienced teachers provide instruction on violin, viola, cello, and double bass. Over the years, our music lessons have successfully brought children and adults from beginner levels to intermediate and advanced playing abilities.

Musical Diversity: We teach and perform a wide variety of musical styles including rock, jazz, country, and Christmas melodies. Our program also celebrates cultural diversity with a strong focus on Asian music traditions, including Indian (Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi), Chinese, Japanese, and Korean music.

Schedule and Locations:

• Music lessons run from September through June
• Scarborough classes and rehearsals: Saturdays at 15-4465 Sheppard Ave. East, M1S 5H9
• Ajax classes and rehearsals: Thursdays at 14-400 Monarch Ave
• Combined rehearsals: Wednesdays
• Different age groups available at both studios
• Orchestral rehearsals welcome beginners and experienced players at both locations

Our teaching philosophy centers on making music education both affordable and fun, ensuring that financial barriers don't prevent anyone from experiencing the joy of making music.
